KENNETH J. MEINERT
PRESIDENT
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

KML, based in Cambridge, Ontario, is reshaping the very concept of home-building with the application of leading edge technologies. The result is GenesisTM - an advanced, state-of-the-art, innovative construction system that's fast, flexible, aesthetic, strong and durable. Ranging from single steel framed structures to complete neighbourhoods, GenesisTM from KML is revolutionizing the way homes are built, and in turn, building a stronger tomorrow.

KML is pleased to announce the appointment of Kenneth J. Meinert as President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company. Kenneth brings a diverse portfolio of skills and comprehensive senior management experience in the building materials industry. In a career spanning over 2 decades, Kenneth has held positions of increasing responsibility in the USA, Canada and Europe. His strong leadership qualities and expertise in the areas of operations, marketing and general management, have contributed to a successful track record that's highly regarded in the industry.

Kenneth's career highlights are striking and diverse. As President and CEO of CGC Inc. Toronto, a leading Canadian construction materials company, he reduced overheads, repositioned sales and marketing divisions, redesigned distribution channels and improved operational efficiencies. Kenneth and his team dramatically increased market share and earnings by providing strong, visible leadership.

As VP of US Gypsum Co. Chicago, Kenneth led several initiatives aimed at achieving efficiencies and improved effectiveness of the Company's entire North American Gypsum business unit. Working in senior management in different companies, Kenneth was involved in critical business situations, where his decisive leadership and business acumen resulted in dramatic improvements in operations.

A B.Sc. (Eng.) graduate from Carnegie Mellon University, with a Master's in Management from Kellogg School Northwestern University, Kenneth is actively involved in various social and community causes, like The United Way and Habitat for Humanity, of which he is a Canadian Board Member.

KML is known for its revolutionary and mould-breaking solutions for the building industry. Kenneth's innovative thinking and proven leadership qualities mesh well with KML's philosophy. The Company looks forward to Kenneth's lead to take it to even greater heights in the new millennium.
